Special race night celebrates Hong Kong’s hosting of Asian Racing Conference

The 35th Asian Racing Conference (ARC) is being held in Hong Kong this week and tonight’s race meeting (Wednesday 7 May) at Happy Valley Racecourse was themed around this special occasion.

  • The Asian Racing Federation Trophy opening ceremony.
  • Dr Koji Sato, Chairman of the Asian Racing Federation and Presidential Counselor for International Affairs of the Japan Racing Association, Mrs Sato and Mr Louis Romanet, Chairman of the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities on arrival at Happy Valley Racecourse.
  • BEAUTY LEAD (No. 9), ridden by Matthew Chadwick and trained by Tony Cruz, wins the Asian Racing Federation Trophy.
  • Dr Koji Sato, Chairman of the Asian Racing Federation and Presidential Counselor for International Affairs of the Japan Racing Association presents the trophy to winning Owner Mrs Kwok Siu Ming.
  • Dr Koji Sato, Chairman of the Asian Racing Federation and Presidential Counselor for International Affairs of the Japan Racing Association, smiles for the camera with connections of BEAUTY LEAD and the HKJC’s Stewards at the trophy presentation ceremony of the Asian Racing Federation Trophy.
