Foreign companies bid for gambling distribution in Italy

Various foreign companies have made bids for the distribution of gambling products in Italy. These bids were a response to the privatisation tender from the Italian government this Summer.

According to Euro2day Newswire, the Greek betting technology company Intralot has bid for 500 gambling points of sale, Eurobet bid for 200 betting shops and 650 corner stores, Sisal bid for 160 stores and 880 corner stores, Cogetech asked for 175 stores and 175 corner stores and the UK's Ladbrokes bid for 85 shops and 880 corner stores.

The winners are expected to be announced soon.
